Pass Doors

A pass door helps where there is no room for a regular entry door. People walk through a small door instead of opening the whole sectional door, which saves energy, cuts wear on the big door and saves opener cycles. In bad weather, less heat or cold gets in or out, which saves more on energy.

The aluminum frame is not welded and has a shiplap design for strength and a weather-tight seal. A rain cap keeps water out of the entry when it rains.
A geared hinge runs smoothly and helps the pass door last.
A commercial door closer shuts it safely and quietly.
A continuous boxed channel bottom rail adds strength against wind and bending.

Available On 3720, 3722, 3724, 3200 and 3220 insulated models.

Available Colors Pass door frames come in White or Brown. Other colors can be custom ordered, with a longer wait.

Break-Away Bottom Sections

The Break-Away Bottom Section pops out of the track and swings up to 90 degrees inward or 45 degrees outward, so the door does not get more damage.

The bottom section snaps back in place in under a minute.
A fiberglass panel inside the section protects the door.
A commercial door closer shuts it safely and quietly.
An inside slide lock is optional for more security. A padlock can be added.
The door needs 36″ or more of high lift or full vertical lift track.
Does not work with a door drop safety device or bottom brackets.
Does not work with doors that need a double torsion shaft.

Controlgard® SD Chain Hoist

The ControlGard SD Chain Hoist lowers a sectional door by hand in a controlled way, with a built-in brake. With a standard chain hoist the door can get away from you. With ControlGard SD the door moves only while someone pulls the chain, and when nobody pulls it the brake holds the door in place.
